Hey Wing Fans
So it begins the final March to the playoffs so far have been kind to the Red Wings posting a 5-2 win over the Nashville and a 5-4 thriller over Chicago over the weekend, the Wings are starting to shape up looking like the Champions they are with all there top scorers getting on the score sheets and the depth they have and need in order to make a splash and finish in the top 8 in the west.
What have they been doing wrong? Taking penalties has been a stressing issue and not one to be taken lightly as well as being a -3 goal differential is not looking like the Wings of old. Right now they sit with 74 points with a critical game at hand against Calgary winning this game could put them 3 up on Calgary and 1 point ahead of Nashville(providing they do not beat Atlanta)this is indeed one of the most important games the Wings should have to win during this stretch. After Calgary the Wings then have Minnesota on Thursday on the outside looking in but they are still alive.
The Wings must adjust and look ahead I for one will be watching tonights game intently awaiting the outcome.

I’m personally looking forward to watching Ken Holland rebuild this team once the older guys are simply too old to perform at the highest level. It’s like a case study in good GMing. I wish I could say the same about our GM in New York, but that just isn’t the case. I envy the Wings’ scouting staff and great knowledge of team-building. Good luck down the stretch!

yes the wings have a great scouting team, 2011-2012 is when alot of the big names go to free-agency or may retire by that point Detroit will surely have roster issues. New York has been streaky although they have a good roster they can never all be on the same page
